Additional Property Attributes

As part of the Phase I ESA, lead was assessed from paint chips pealing from the exterior and interior walls with the results being positive for lead. Material from the exterior of the buiding was assessed for asbestos, but none was found in the limited exterior samples. The interior of this building should be completely assessed once access has been obtained.

Former Use: This property is privately owned by Mr. Darrel Williams. The property was historically used as a movie theatre, and later as apartments and a meeting place for church groups prior to falling into disrepair. The building facade is historically significant however, the building is in such disrepair, with a collapsed roof, that salvage of the building may not be feasible.
