Former Use: Former ACME Battery plant acquired by Remains, Inc. 14,250 sq ft warehouse space received environmental cleanup and renovation in 2007 (Phase I). This project will finish cleanup on the western half of the building and will complete all decontamination and capping of contaminants on 3340 Morgan ord parcel. The new building will allow for expansion of Remains, Inc. textile recycling business.

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources conducted a Phase II ESA in 2013. The Phase II ESA consisted of an ACM survey, which identified ACM in a portion of site building to be demolished. Site is on State Hazardous Waste Registry for lead contamination and was previously enrolled in the BVCP to address issues from the lead contamination. The owner, Remains, Inc., with the assistance of funding provided by the Environmental Improvement Energy Resources Authority (EIERA), plans to conduct remediation, while continuing its redevelopment. They wish to demolish the western portion of an existing building, which is why they needed the ACM survey.
