Former Use: Historically the raceways directed canal water to the hydroelectric turbine, providing power to the Cumberland Mill. The date of construction of the hydroelectric station is unknown; however, the 1886 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map depicts a structure on the Site. The current Site owners purchased the property in 1998.
