Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The property is part of the previously commercially zoned, Old Klamath Town site that was vacated after the 1964 flood. It is 1/4 mile west of the Klamath River; principally a concrete surface with scrub vegetation and the remains of a former service station (collapsed walls), a hydraulic lift remains in a partially raised position, remnant fuel dispensing islands and USTs with open ventilation holes. The property is currently zoned seasonal recreation use only and is permitted through the Del Norte County Planning department. / The property is privately owned; prior to the flood by Harold Hansen; transferred to Hensel's Trustees in 1973; purchased in 1997 by Larry Hendrix.
