Additional Property Attributes

The Lucent Technologies property consists of 169 acres, including 40 acres on the southern side of the property that have never been developed. In addition to nearly 2 million-square feet of manufacturing, office, and warehouse space in 30 buildings, the property includes 40 acres of roadways and parking, 6,000 parking spaces, and four baseball fields. The centerpiece of the property is its 1.5 million square foot manufacturing facility. Today, the property is nearly vacant. The goal for the property's redevelopment is to attract high-end/high-tech industrial tenants. (PPF - Lucent Technologies, 2/4/05)

Former Use: At one time, Lucent Technologies employed over 12,000 people at the property. Currently a couple hundred Lucent workers remain, along with a smattering of small businesses.
