Additional Property Attributes

The property at 935 West Broad Street is approximately 0.58-acres in area. The property was first used as a gasoline station in 1929. The site was occupied by petroleum distributor, Morse HH Oil, Inc. and Morse Tank car station from approximately 1929 until 1974. The site was later occupied by the Caribbean Service Station and Auto Body Shop from approximately 1979 until 1994 when the site was abandoned. The City of Rochester acquired the property through tax foreclosure in October 2003 after receiving a USEPA brownfield investigation grant for the site.

Former Use: Gas station and petroleum storage/distribution. Former uses of the property has included a gasoline service station and bulk petroleum storage and distribution facility begininng around the 1930's.
