Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The irregular-shaped, approximately 50-acre Site is adjacent to the former Idaho Maryland Mine, which is no longer in operation. Prospect pits and a former sulphuret works are depicted on historic maps of the Site; however, evidence of these activities was no longer apparent. The western portion of the Site is pine forest, and the eastern portion is sparsely vegetated with predominately shrubs and grasses. Several trails and unimproved (unpaved) roads traverse the property, likely originating from historic use, but currently utilized by an extensive homeless population. Other surrounding properties consist of vacant land, and light industrial use.
