Additional Property Attributes

The Property was situated on an approximately 8.68-acre parcel located on the west side of West Ash Street/U.S. Highway 60. The Property was mostly vacant desert land with an access driveway off West Ash Street/U.S. Highway 60. About 2 acres, located in the central portion of the Property near the access driveway had been previously cleared of vegetation; about 1.7 acres remains cleared, and native vegetation has regrown in the remainder of the formerly cleared area. A portion of Ridge Road bisects the southwestern portion of the Property. The Property did not appear to be developed, and we did not identify other current usages or occupancy of the Property.

Former Use: The Property and Property vicinity was likely developed in the 1870s when the mineral region that encompasses Globe, Miami, and Claypool was removed from the San Carlos Apache Reservation and designated as public land called the Globe Mining District. Based on the environmental professional�s review of historical documents, the Property was vacant desert land until the eastern portion was developed with multiple single-family residences between 1906 and 1909. The residential structures remained on the Property until they were demolished sometime in the late 1990s/early 2000s. The Property has remained vacant and otherwise undeveloped since the demolition of the residential structures. IDA reviewed Property information on the Gila County Assessor�s Office website. Based on IDA�s review, the current owner of the Property parcel, APN 208-03-182N, was Gila County Miniature Golf Inc. IDA�s review of the tax files identified no buildings or commercial improvements.
