Additional Property Attributes

The site consists of the historic three story, brick building. The building was used as apartments and retail space. It contains a boiler in the basement with mercury switches. Former Use: 3 story brick building built in 1913. Used as retail until the 1980s, since then it has been primarily vacant with renovations to the main floor in the 1990's. This complicated cleanup project is still ongoing and scheduled to be completed summer of 2022. The new location enables the health center to add and expand services, increasing efficiency and improving the patient experience. Financing came together through several grants, private investment from One Health, EPA's Brownfields Program, First Interstate Bank and the federal New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program. This project is instrumental to the state and local economies as demonstrated by the following impacts: ? Anticipated creation of 132 new jobs and retention of 22 existing jobs totaling projected aggregate annual wages of $5,676,843 invested back into the local economy. ? Preservation and rehabilitation of a contributing historical building within the National Park Service Register of Historic Places; Lewistown Central Business Historic District.
