Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site building is reportedly over 100 years old. The Ultima Nashua Industrial Corp., also known as the Nashua Industrial Machine Corp, is a former metals shop operater at the Site since at least 1983. Operations included the machining, fabricating, welding, and assembly of medium to large size mechanical parts, components, and equipment. A business called Perpetual Machine is also listed as having business there in 2002. As of October 2016, the Site activities have halted with machine equipment put on auction. The NHDOT acquired the site through eminent domain as part of the Broad Street Parkway acquisition. A portion of the site was deemed necessary in the early phases of the parkway construction when the project was first proposed to be a four-lane parkway. The roadway was ultimately downsized and the site was no longer needed and transferred to the City. The adjacent PSNH Millyard Substation property is an active transformer substation with bulk aboveground storage of transformer mineral oil since 1949.
