The Glen Monarch patented mining claim is one of nine claims that together total 88.37 acres, and comprise the Camp Bird 14-Level property. These claims are all owned by Federal Resources Inc. The 14-Level property includes the main mine portal, two large mine waste dumps, four building of historical significance, one partially collapsed core shed, a mill foundation, five cement slabs, two 8-ton locomotives, two power substations, and one pond. Historic buildings are located on the Glen Monarch. Tailings and mine waste in contact with surface water, and portions of Imogene Creek and Sneffles Creek are located on the Glen Monarch. The adit itself appears to be on a neighboring claim Gertrude MS claim.

Former Use: One of nine claims comprising Camp Bird 14-Level property. Originally developed circa 1903. Acquired by current owner 1963.
