Additional Property Attributes

Adjacent to another 80 + acres of vacant property. Canyon County wishes to utilize this property for the Canyon County Fairgrounds. Wishes assistance in conduction due diligence in order to gain BFPP status under CERCLA. (PPF - Frank Field - former air strip, 01/29/07) Former air strip purchased for use as an equipment rental facility. Additional assessment may follow. (PPF - Frank Field - former air strip, 12/7/07)

Former Use: Owned by the Frank family, no current use. Was a crop dusting air strip. Suspected soil or ground water contamination from past air strip activities, mixing of agricultural chemicals for aerial application. Confirmed DDE and Dinoseb detections in soil and trace in ground water, per private study.
