Additional Property Attributes

Removal of one underground storage tank took place in 1987. A second tank was removed in 2002 residual subsurface soil contamination was found and a SMAC was issued by Vermont DEC. The property is now vacant PPF - A&B Motors, 10/29/07. A draft Phase 2 ESA has been submitted by the consultant, recommending removal of a UST, drywell, and a hydraulic lift. Any contaminated soil disturbed as a result of removal of these things should be handled appropriately. Additional groundwator monitoring is recommended. Future development and/or excavation should not occur without prior approval from Vermont DEC. Grantee Entered Information, 2/26/08

Former Use: The property was used as an auto dealership and service garage for about 70 years, and for residential use. The lot houses an unused 4 bay service garage attached to a residence.
