Additional Property Attributes

On 11/15/2011, Swope Community Builders completed construction of the East Village Apartments, a $11.9 million project on the site of the former Cherry Street Inn and adjacent property. On the cleanup site, a 350 stall structured parking garage was built. On adjacent property at 916 and 900 Holmes St., 30 two-bedroom and 20 one-bedroom affordable apartments were developed.

Former Use: The subject property was comprised of commercial and residential structures through 1909, a former service station in the northwest corner of the site (approximately 1939 through 1950), hotels/apartments from approximately 1929 through 1967, and a five-story motel/restaurant structure from 1967 through 2006.
