Additional Property Attributes

The site is identified by the City of Boston as Parcel 0802936000. The site is a rectangular shaped, vacant undeveloped parcel consisting of 0.028 acres of land. There are no permanent buildings or structures on the site. According to historical information, the site was formerly improved with a building of commercial use between 1897 and 1964. The City of Boston foreclosed on the property on October 23, 1990. The general setting surrounding the property is residential use. The Phase I ESA identified two RECs associated with offsite sources of a release from State-listed sites. The ESA recommended a DEP file review to assess the potential impact from offsite sources of oil and/or hazardous material. The ESA also stated that it is likely that the site contains historic fill material, a former building foundation and/or potential building materials. Historic fill may contain a variety of contaminants which should be considered prior to future development. Based on reviewed information, no Institutional Controls are required at this time.
