Additional Property Attributes

To be redeveloped as an in channel flood plain to mitigate effects of illegal dumping.

Former Use: The proposed assessment and revitalization would actually take place on the Teton Creek floodplain which is adjacent to Teton Creek and the currently closed Teton County Sanitary Landfill. The floodplain area is owned by the county and is undeveloped although it is suspected that some fill material could be on site from earlier decades. The county is in receipt of an NRCS WHIIP grant and the Friends of Teton Creek are in receipt of 200,000 in grants to restore Teton Creek after it was unlawfully altered by a private citizen now in prison for said illegal activity. FTR and the County want to team up their grant efforts in this area of Teton Creek for their restoration.
